Hebrews 9: Pointing to the Perfect High Priest

Scripture Focus:

“But when Christ appeared as a high priest of the good things that have come, then through the greater and more perfect tent (not made with hands, that is, not of this creation)”
Hebrews 9:11 (ESV)

Reflection:

All of Scripture points to Jesus. The sacrifices, the tabernacle, the priesthood—they were shadows of the real thing. And now the real has come.

Jesus didn’t enter an earthly temple. He didn’t come with animal blood. He entered the heavenly tabernacle with His own perfect blood, securing our redemption once and for all.

We’re not left guessing like those in the Old Testament. We live in the days of fulfillment. The mystery has been revealed. The cross has been lifted. The Spirit has been poured out.

That’s why my ministry is called Arrow—because our lives, like the Scriptures, are meant to point straight to Jesus.

Creation points to Him. History points to Him. Our lives must point to Him.

From Shadow to Substance

Living on this side of the cross is like stepping out of a black-and-white sketch into full-color reality.
If the Old Testament was a fax machine, we’re holding the iPhone—interactive, living, and connected to heaven.

But this isn’t just a better era—it’s unspeakable mercy. Salvation is no longer reserved for Israel alone. Through Christ, it’s offered to the whole world.

Takeaway:

You’re not living in a shadow. You’re living in the age of clarity and calling.
You are an arrow. Point to Jesus.
Point with your words, your worship, your work, your witness.
He is the High Priest of good things that have come—and your life is now part of His temple.

Prayer:

Jesus, thank You for being the perfect High Priest. You didn’t come with shadows—you came with substance. You offered Yourself, not just for the few, but for the many. Let my life be an arrow pointing only to You. Fill me with the Holy Spirit so I can live, speak, and love in a way that glorifies Your name. Amen.
